sleep rocks!
slept through the whole morning, through the afternoon also.
from 8am all the way to 530pm.
and i came up with a conclusion, the more you sleep, the more you realise that sleeping rocks!
hahaha HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY!
not the fake one, but the real one.
the reason why i woke up is cause i need to go and buy present. hope she likes it.
anyway school is starting really soon! lets hope accounting is really easy.

sudden inspiration
Base is so tiring i wish i wanna go back to being a back support. hahaha
i better train like mad! i dont want to "hai" someone to collapse because i got no strength.
speak to the muscle and the muscle shall grow. hahaa
speak to the mountain and it shall be move. i shall confess like crazy hopefully my muscle will grow without having to exercise. hahaha
kk. that isnt my sudden inspiration.
my sudden inspiration is spiritual one. FINALLY haha.
as i was lying on my bed a few days ago then it suddenly came to me so why not share it. :)
The most important thing in our christian walk is Love.
because i realised that, without love it is impossible to reach the destiny God has set and has given to each and everyone of us.
1cor13:13
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
the bible clearly states that love is the most important and i realised that without love, it is impossible to have faith. without faith it is impossible to please God. if you cant please God then you are not loving him, then, what for be a christian. To show concern and love for someone means that we will do our utmost to do good for the person or 'get into' the person's life. The same with applies to our relationship with him.
FAITH
Heb11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
As a christian we are always told to live by faith, to do this in faith, to do that in faith, but some times it is hard for us to grasp what this "faith" thing is about.
MY REVELATION :)
Faith is not believing that something will happen just because you read the bible and God says that you can have it.
but
Faith is firstly built on love, then acted out, out of love. haha get it?
i try to explain.
1. faith is built on love
faith is choosing to believe in something even though it may seem impossible in the given situation based on the promise that God has given to you, right?
there are 2 kinds of situation,
a. is God asking you to have faith to do something for him ( e.g. expanding the kingdom of God)
b. is you having faith that God with intercede for you in your situation ( e.g. financial situation, family problems, academic problems)
but both situation despite being directed towards 2 different things is both based on the same principle of love. the first one is you doing something because you love God, thats why you need the faith, because the first kind of situation is usually the situation that pushes you closer to the destiny that God has given to you, and that would definitely requires faith to do so because its not by strength, not by might, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. And the second one is because you are confident of God's love for you, and because of that, you know that he is able to pull you out of your situation. 2 different situations explains how exactly faith to me works. quite simple. you love God, and He loves you back thats why we need faith. because eventually, whatever situation that God pulls us out off, or empower us to do, the purpose is so that we can touch other people's lives as well. the final beneficiary of this "faith thing" is not us. is others. when we can grasp this we can easily step into this realm of faith. because God loves you, and he loves people as well. we know that whatever we do in faith, would eventually benefit others because you yourself has experience the love of God.
Faith is love because it is not selfish. when you have faith to do something, your benefits, benefits others. That is why faith is important.
2. Faith is acting out of love
Faith is acted out of obedience and submission to God despite the fact that you have no idea of the outcome, but because you love God you choose to do it anyway, knowing for CERTAIN that God will intervene.
story of abraham being told to sacrifice his son
1 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!”
And he said, “Here I am.”
2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
3 So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lada]" style="line-height: 0.5em; ">[a]and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”
6 So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. 7 But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!”

Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.
9 Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
11 But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!”
So he said, “Here I am.”
12 And He said, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide;b]" style="line-height: 0.5em; ">[b] as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”

in the story of Abraham, we saw that God told Abraham to sacrifice the son the has been promised to him. Which was an incredible feat of faith because it was almost impossible for him and his wife sarah to conceive, yet they trusted in the Lord to provide for them. ( love is built on trust, and vice versa ) and just when they had their son isaac, which they had at a very old age, God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son to him as a burnt sacrifice. its really difficult to part with a promise that God has given to you, moreover it is their very own child. yet Abraham acted out is Submission and obedience towards what God has spoken for him to do, not knowing the outcome, yet expecting God to intervene. indeed God did intervene and abraham did not have to sacrifice his son and God provided a ram as a sacrifice for them. and isaac went on to be a blessing to many people.
within this passage lies another 2 very important truth about faith
a. Abraham kept hold to the promise of God (making you a father of many nations), despite the fact that he was about to kill his own child and offer up as a sacrifice of God. God will NEVER go back on the promise that he has given to you. so no matter how dire the situation maybe, just keep obeying and submitting to whatever God ask you to do, even though it may be hard, you know that God will never ever break his promise to you, it may take a moulding of our character, but the promise belongs to us and nobody can take it away.
Job 23:10
But He knows the way that I take;When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
But He knows the way that I take;When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
God knows what he is putting you through. :)
b. Abraham did not treat what God has given to him as his own. when God told him to sacrifice isaac, he did not argue with God and say smt like noooo he is mine, he belongs to me now, do not take him away. but instead he obeyed God and went about doing it immediately.Abraham places his love for God above his love for any other thing in the world. even his own Son. and that is how faith should be, doing things for God because you love for him is greater than your love for any other matter. and that is why God made Abraham super prosperous.
Luke 19:17
And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities
And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant; because you were faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities
Jesus says that if you are found faithful in little things, he will add more to you. if you love the little things he has given to you, he will give you a greater capacity to love. :)
to conclude. faith not acted out of love is just "luck", you can never be certain of the outcome. but if you base your faith on your love for God and his love for you, we would need not be afraid of whatever situation that come running our way. we can stand victorious everytime, because of a simple promise that God has given to us. the first 3 words of 1 cor 13:8 says : LOVE NEVER FAILS. with those 3 words, we are guaranteed of our GOD given victories every time.

i am determined
anyway cell group is fun and i change strings already!
no more self inflicted torture with .13 gauged strings. haha.
im in a crappy mood today.
there is 2 ways to interpret this statement.
1stly. some people will feel that aww, he is in a crappy mood today, i need to comfort him before he becomes suicidal and stuff of that sort.
2ndly. some people will high together with me cause im in a crappy mood and i feel like crapping!
haha if you belong to the first category of people, snap out of it. once upon a time in a anthole far away, there lived a hero name luke soilwalker, he was a jediant. His father was an Evil ant and he was known as Darth ANT. he was really evil. like really really evil. however, luke soilwalker was a good ant. and Darth Ant was obsessed with finding him. so some really complicated stuff happens here which i cant really remember cause i never watch the real star wars movie. so ums in the end darth ant and luke soilwalker had a pincer duel which darth ant accidentally cut off soilwalker's arm. the darth said " LUKE i am ur FATHER! " but luke obviously didnt bother with him because queen ants usually give birth to alot of ants and who cares who is the father if you are an ant. and luke replied, " OWW my hand hurts" then darth replied " i only cut off one, you still have 5 " the luke replied, " oh yah, i still can function properly" so they became friends, and they went to drink coffee. then they danced all night and darth ant became a good ant. he got baptised and changed his name to YODA. so that is the end of the story.
its 1209 now. my mood is crappy.. its slightly different from crappy. crappy.. has 2 fullstops. hahaha. the END
