Family

Ah kong passed away last tuesday.. 6 day short of his birthday on Nov 1.
Happy birthday Ah Kong. If only he could have waited a few more days, we all could have seen him as a family for one more time. The past few days at the funeral has reminded me of the fragility of life. We never know when something could happen to anyone of us.

Treasure whatever time you have with your loved ones, dont regret only after they are gone.

I have not been a good grandson. When Ah Kong fell sick, i hardly visited him. Always making excuses that im too busy, or i have something on. Now i regret that i dun have a chance to see ah kong anymore. What the point of being filial after the funeral. I will treasure my family more. There is always time for family.

I am grateful that my family is finally reunited. No more quarrels and i get to see my cousins and my aunts and uncles again. Hope this last.
